Two training dates have been announced so to be prepared for the up coming CXHB series, NZ series and National Champs you should make sure you do not miss these sessions.
20 May Sunday 9am EIT Carpark
3 June Sunday 9am Eit Carpark
Sessions will run for approx 2hrs including skills sessions, remount/dismount practice, race pace efforts, carrying methods etc.
We will have a set of callipers to measure your tyre width, you might be surprised with the outcome! Several CXHB riders have been checking their tyre widths recently and even though tyre manufactuerers spec at say 34mm actual calliper readings are well below the UCI legal width of 33mm.

Cyclocross Roys Hill Open day
A successful fun morning of Cyclocross at Roys Hill today was a promising preseason start to whats to come.
25 riders enjoyed warm conditions with a skills session run by Carl Paton followed by 5 lap kids event and a 3 person team relay. Many laughs and a bit of mud to go with it thanks to over night rain made the day all the more enjoyable.
More info on the CXHB series can be found at the following link:
Thanks to the Hastings District Council and Gemma Newland for co-ordinating the event and keep checking the blog for the next Sunday cyclocross ride.

Cyclocross Sunday March 4 8am EIT Carpark
Meet us for the second cyclocross ride of the year on Sunday (3 March) at EIT 8am sharp.
We'll do a couple of laps of the NZ champs course at EIT and then we'll hit the pathways with an approx ride time of 3hrs to meet back at New World Greenmeadows for coffee at approx 11am.
Join us for some fun and remember there is a wide network of CX parts and CX bikes available now so don't forget to come with your wish list and the CXHB team will do our best to get your machine ready for the season or advise where you can find what your looking for.
As usual any bikes are welcome preferably off road to avoid unnecessarily getting punctures. Ideally Cyclocross and MTB bikes are the business.
See you there.
